Center-Based ABA Therapy for Acworth Children

Apollo Behavior’s center-based program gives Acworth children a structured environment supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analysts, with programming built around each child’s own goals:

The Apollo Behavior Approach in Acworth

Getting started should feel like a clear path forward. Apollo Behavior’s admissions process is built around busy Acworth schedules and real insurance questions.

  • Step 1: First Conversation. Our intake team answers your questions and helps you understand what to expect.
  • Step 2: Clinical Assessment. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst evaluates your child and builds a personalized program.
  • Step 3: Insurance Support. We work with major carriers to confirm your coverage.
  • Step 4: Therapy Start. Small caseloads and consistent oversight mean your child’s team is ready from session one.

Acworth families deserve a partner who keeps their word, and that starts here.

How We Teach at Our Acworth Center

Every child’s program at our Acworth center includes Relational Frame Theory (RFT), a way of teaching children to connect ideas so they can understand things they were never directly taught. For example, a child who learns that a dime is worth more than a nickel, and a quarter more than a dime, can work out that a quarter is worth more than a nickel. Your child’s BCBA measures these skills with the PEAK assessment when they start and every month after that. Learn how RFT works.

Results: 72% of clients who stay with us at least 12 months graduate to school, and 84% of those who start at age 3 or younger. See our outcomes.

Insurance we accept: Anthem, Cigna, Optum, Kaiser, Aetna, and Georgia Medicaid. See our insurance and Medicaid guides.

Yes, insurance requires a formal autism diagnosis before ABA therapy can begin. If your child doesn’t have one yet, Apollo Behavior offers diagnostic evaluations in-house, so you can start that step with us. If your child was just diagnosed, our guide to what to do after an autism diagnosis in Georgia walks you through the first steps.

Many of our centers bring in speech and occupational therapy partners who see children on site, so your child can get those services in the same building as their ABA therapy. When you call, we’ll tell you what’s available at the Acworth center and help you get it set up.

Your child works one-on-one with a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) throughout the day, with their BCBA on site supervising. Sessions mix play-based learning, small-group activities with other children, and practice of everyday skills such as communication, mealtimes and transitions. Our centers are open Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.

Yes. School readiness is one of the main goals for many children in our program. That includes following group instructions, waiting a turn, sitting for an activity, and moving between tasks. Among clients who complete 12 or more months with us, 72% have graduated to school. See our outcomes.
