We Teach Children How to Learn
Every child's program at Apollo combines ABA with Relational Frame Theory (RFT). ABA teaches specific skills, like asking for help or following a routine. RFT teaches children to connect ideas, such as same and different, more and less, and before and after, so they can work out things nobody taught them directly.
Traditional ABA teaches each skill directly. A therapist breaks the skill into small steps, and the child practices each step many times until they get it right. Take learning which coins are worth more. Traditional ABA would teach three separate facts, one lesson at a time: a dime is worth more than a nickel, a quarter is worth more than a dime, and a quarter is worth more than a nickel. With RFT, we teach the first two facts, and the child works out the third on their own. Making these connections also helps children with language, problem solving and understanding how other people think and feel.
We track this with the PEAK assessment every month. Children who start with us at age 3 or younger and stay at least 12 months reach, on average, 80% of the skills expected for their age. See how RFT works at Apollo.

Center Based
Our center-based ABA therapy services are a great way to develop individual skills and provide the opportunity to grow.
In-Home
We offer in-home services on a limited basis as a supplement to our center-based services.
Telehealth
We are pleased to offer telehealth services as an option for initial parent interviews and on a limited basis for caregiver training
Our Admission Process
If you think your child may have autism, the first step is getting a formal diagnosis for Autism Spectrum Disorder and prescription for applied behavior analysis or ABA therapy from your pediatrician, psychologist, or developmental neurologist.
We will meet with you and your child to evaluate what type and amount of therapy is appropriate for your child.
Once we have completed an evaluation, we will work with your insurance company to advocate for your child to make sure they receive medically appropriate services that will ensure progress.
Once we receive authorization from your insurance company, we will begin providing your child with services as soon as possible.
Accepted Insurances
We accept Anthem, Cigna, Optum, Kaiser, Aetna, and Georgia Medicaid at all Georgia centers, and Tricare at our Columbus and Warner Robins centers.
For families without coverage, private and government programs may offer financial assistance.
